This project began with a simple but powerful idea: to ensure that no airman connected to Devon is forgotten. Many of these men have no known grave, no surviving family, and no voice left to tell their story. Through atmospheric profiles, creative visuals, and meticulous research, we’ve begun to bring them back into the light.
Each profile is crafted with care — blending historical accuracy with emotional resonance. We trace their final missions, their training days, and the quiet moments before flight. We honour their humility, their courage, and the lives they left behind. These are not just names on a roll of honour; they were sons, brothers, and friends.
The page also invites community engagement. If you have memories, photographs, or stories passed down through generations, we welcome your contributions. Every detail helps us build a fuller picture and deepen the sense of shared guardianship.
