Reviews of Website and Presentations

It was a wonderful surprise when I went to visit my 94 year old dad that Chris was about to do his presentation to the home. It kept all captivated and there were a lot of distant memories rekindled. I have lived in the area all my life and learnt so much more on the history of the airport and the RAF there. Since the talk I have had a look through in more detail some of the extensive website information. Many thanks Chris.

What a wonderful website created by Chris Wiseman. It is regularly updated and so always fresh and new.We have spent many days dipping into the site and particularly liked the Book of Remembrance and the super ariel photos of RAF Exeter.Chris has included a lovely write up on the St George and Dragon Wartime ceiling which is a subject close to our hearts. Dont miss the videos showing 310 Sqn Czech at RAF Exeter. So evocative.
The website supports such a good cause  too.Thank you  Chris  for all your hard work and dedication to our precious local history.

Morning Chris,

You went down a storm last week, so much so I think they would like to hear it again as a few people didn't get down this time.

Would it be possible to maybe recap it again and add some of your flying experience in too do you think?

And if you have any information about Exmouth itself to pass on they would absolutely love it.

Judy Johnson – 5 October 2024.

Many thanks for your excellent talk this morning - it was very well received by our members. I was also very impressed by the excellent quality of your slide presentation - it must have required considerable effort to find the old photos etc.
